Every engagement ring begins with a remarkable natural gemstone. Some clients are drawn to the warmth of an old-cut diamond; others to the depth and individuality of a coloured sapphire or emerald.
Each ring is designed in Edinburgh and handcrafted by our master jwellers in Scotland.
Bespoke engagement rings start from £8,000.
Coloured Gemstones
Colour has long defined our engagement ring commissions. We work exclusively with natural gemstones, including sapphires, rubies and emeralds, but also more unusual stones - many of which are rarely seen in traditional jewellers.
Please note, we do not work with lab-created gemstones.
Natural & Old-Cut Diamonds
We specialise in responsibly sourced natural diamonds, focusing on more unusual colours and shapes including old-cut and antique stones chosen for character over perfection.

Personalisation goes beyond design - it’s the finer details that make your ring unique. Not only is their beauty to be found in the architecture of the piece, it’s also an opportunity to include beautiful engraving, a hidden gemstone or some subtle personal touches.
Signature Styles
While each ring is bespoke, many commissions evolve from Moira’s Signature silhouettes.
Developed in the workshop over the past decade, these forms reflect a recognisable design language; restrained, sculptural and precise.
Some clients choose a Signature style outright; others use it as a starting point for something entirely new.
