From start to finish, this bespoke engagement ring was an absolute joy to create. I’m obsessed with coloured gems and sapphires are one of my favourites, so this was a real treat.
R & J came to us with such a clear sense of colour, mood and meaning. We settled on this spectacular aurora-inspired design centred around a gorgeous purple sapphire with a wee halo of sparkly diamonds. Each sapphire was specially cut for the design. Not the easiest approach, but so worth the effort.
For an extra personal tough, we added a pattern beneath the halo as a subtle nod to the couple’s heritage.
