Can we have a wee moment for garnets..?

When I first spotted this 11.25ct beauty in the most luscious deep red I just fell in love with it. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I had a client in mind (as we’d previously discussed creating a special pendant) - and once again, serendipity struck and she loved it as much as I did!

We wanted to keep the design clean and simple so I designed this open, geometric style setting in 18ct gold; it just felt right with the octagon shape of the gemstone. We also managed to sneak a few cheeky wee trapezoid diamonds into the angles for some extra sparkle.

I sourced a gorgeous gold paperclip chain to hang the pendant from (these chains are handmade in Germany and I’ve never felt quality like it). I was delighted with the end result and I absolutely love this pendant.
