It was lovely creating this bespoke engagement ring for J & I. Originally from Australia, the couple are spending a few years in Scotland and we managed to source this magical Australian opal for their engagement ring. I love opals when they're cut symmetrically like this - it creates such an elegant timeless look.
We wanted to add a subtle twist with a hint of sparkle so we went for a split shoulder with pavé set diamonds on alternate sides. A lovely surprise proposal came from J in Skye in September - huge congratulations to you both!
