Wow! I'm not sure where to start with this ring as it was such a special one for me. Firstly, the central sapphire was just insane. Bright & super sparkly with amazing symmetry (and the birthstone of the owner-to-be). In terms of the design, our client had such amazing enthusiasm and creativity it was just so much fun to develop our ideas together.

We wanted to do something classic but that had lots of subtle meaning…we went for an almost classic cluster style, but with tiny 1mm diamonds filling the gaps of the larger diamonds, create a more modern take on the definitive style. If you look on the underside, you will find an amazing lattice of metalwork inspired by amazing traditional Filipino tambourin style jewellery; which is very special to the couple. Further from this we also managed to sneak in a slice of shell on the underside of sapphire.

I was so pleased with how the ring turned out, and absolutely loved working with the couple. I can’t wait to share their wedding rings in due course too! My deepest thanks to them both and my best wishes to them as they start married life together!
