Last year S asked us to create this engraved landscape ring for her partner. They had recently got engaged on a trip to the Skellig Islands off the southwestern coast of Ireland and she really wanted to commission a special ring for him to capture that incredible moment.

Fully engraved rings have become an unexpected speciality of ours. Engraving by hand like this is almost like painting; using marks and depth to create light and shade. The overall effect is beautiful and I love creating them for my clients.

You do need a considerably wide band to allow as much detail as possible (this band was 7mm, but generally anything about 4mm is good).
